Paul builds on his definition of love by showing us the need for kindness. Without a culture of honor, we cannot discipline our kids the way God invites us to.

Too many people are defined by their disgrace. Moments of failure have the potential to mark us and make us believe that God’s plan to use us in a great way have been canceled. The story of Zechariah shows that God is gracious, so we don’t have to prove ourselves. Jesus came to show us God’s amazing grace so that we could be forgiven.
